TRENTON, NJ – New Jersey Department of Community Affairs (DCA) Commissioner Lori Grifa and New Jersey Housing and Mortgage Finance Agency (HMFA) Executive Director Anthony Marchetta today urged prospective homebuyers to take advantage of The Road Home New Jersey, a new consumer education tool that will help guide them in the home buying process.

\”Summer is home buying season, and as market conditions put would-be homebuyers in the driver’s seat, they now have a roadmap to follow along the way to their ultimate destination of home ownership,\” said Commissioner Grifa, who is chair of the HMFA. \”The education campaign is particularly useful for first-time homebuyers who may be unfamiliar with the paperwork, technical phrases, and costs involved with purchasing a house.\”

Residents, if afforded the opportunity to serve on Town Council. I look forward to meeting with the residents of Bellmawr, and communicating openly with everyone and addressing immediately any concerns. My number one goal as a member of Council would be to ask at every opportunity what is being done to reduce property taxes?

I look forward to meeting as many residents as I can within the next few months. I will be handing out flyers door-to-door to assist in communicating my message to the residents and taxpayers of Bellmawr. Finally, if anything is going to change, new leadership, and a new way of thinking within local government, has to occur. I seek your support in this year’s fall election.

Back around the late 1800s, the area known as Center Township had some distinct areas that were being settled.

This area, which will later become known as Noreg Village, is still homesteads and farms. There are many visitors coming from Philadelphia across the ferries in Gloucester City and passing through on the dirt roads and small foot paths that lead to distant places such as Woodbury.

The Camden County Department of Public Works will begin roadway and streetscape improvements at the intersection of Potter (CR 644) and Ellis (CR 561) Streets in Haddonfield on June 20, 2011. The project is expected to be completed by January 2012.

Motorists should be aware of this construction and choose an alternate route to avoid delays. This project will impact residents in both Haddonfield Borough and Cherry Hill Township due to its location at the border of the two municipalities.

We would also like to thank Ken Masterangelo for driving Big Jim in the jeep, and making sure he got to all the places he needed to be. We are all so very proud of Big Jim and we thank him for all he has done for his country and for all he does for us.
